Our current Fountain Valley Professional Association contract expires in 2022. We were able to build on our prior contract with language on technology that ensures our clinical judgment is not replaced or superseded by computer algorithms. The new article supports the provision of safe, therapeutic and effective care and requires management to meet with the Healthcare Professional Advisory Committee (HPAC) before rolling out any new technology. The language ensures our input and concerns are heard prior to implementation.
We also were able to able to win improvements on wages, with those not on the grid receiving up to 36.5% in the first year alone and we secured retro pay for six months. Read more about our contract wins on our post from 2020.
