Corona Regional Nurses on Three Fronts Alert Corporate Heads to Patient Safety Dangers
At Corporate HQ in Pennsylvania an ER nurse will alert UHS, Inc.’s CEO and shareholders, while in Corona a delegation delivers a letter to the local CEO and another group addresses the Corona City Council
Corona Nurses have a message for Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS), owner of their facility and many others across the country: To protect their investment, they need to protect their patients by improving patient safety and the quality of care at Corona Regional.
They’re delivering their message on three fronts:
- A local delegation of Corona RNs will deliver a letter, addressed to UHS CEO Alan Miller, to the office of Corona Regional’s CEO Mark Uffer, highlighting their concerns about patient safety and quality care.
- Corona ER nurse Marie Narisma, RN, has traveled with other caregivers from UHS facilities across the country to address CEO Alan Miller, the Board of Directors and shareholders at their annual meeting in King of Prussia, PA. She’ll highlight chronic understaffing and wait times of over four hours in Corona’s ER.
- A local delegation of Corona RNs will address the Corona City Council.
