SPNN registered nurses were up bright and early Tuesday morning to discuss the wage issues at Sharp HealthCare. Both sides of the table have agreed that recruiting and retaining nurses is a key goal of negotiations, but thus far Sharp hospital administration has not accepted that paying registered nurses far below competitive rates in the area is an obvious impediment to recruiting and retaining the best nurses.
