A union’s contention that mailing certain campaign literature may constitute libel does not justify a refusal to distribute the literature since the union is under a legal duty to distribute the material.

We are only as strong as how much we get involved. I am passionate about our profession; nursing is the best field to be a part of. We must keep it that way by fighting for our rights and those of our patients.

Sherry Louise Macias, RN
Candidate SCNSC President North

I have been an RN at Kaiser for 20 years and ready to continue to work hard for the Union.

I have been an SCNSC Steward since 2016.

Elected Treasurer SCNSC 2022 – under my leadership SCNSC Officers approved cost saving measures such as lower WAHR rate, no reimbursement for travel time for Officers, shorted Affiliate Officers meetings. These savings allowed me to save a considerable amount of your dues money.

I actively assisted with representation meetings in several service area and filed a workload/schedule grievance for our UM CMs.

I sought to engage all the Members to help Union grow.

Letting our contract work to protect us and our jobs.

I was a Steward and Member of Contract Negotiations Team at LAMC Kaiser prior to joining SCNSC 10 years ago.

I have been dedicated to assisting co-workers to understand the contract and their rights.

Please vote for me – I will work with you to ensure all members are heard, understood, and will have a team that will work hard to resolve grievances and fight for a contract we all deserve.
