Solidarity summer continues as the registered nurses of St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood stand up for patient care at the bargaining table—and with an informational picket. Safe patient care shouldn’t be up for debate. At negotiations, St. Francis management has rejected every proposal to improve care and safety, including anything to do with Title XXII, safe ratios, acuities, orientation and training for new grads and floating, Just Culture, or PPE to protect us in a future pandemic.
