We are thrilled to share that advanced practice providers won our union election! Out of 125 eligible APPs at Sharp Rees-Stealy, 73% of the 105 ballots returned resoundingly voted “YES” to join UNAC/UHCP, the leading union for healthcare professionals in California and Hawaii. We did this together. As a result, we have strengthened our position as patient advocates, and we look forward to securing a stronger future for all of us in 2024!
By joining UNAC/UHCP, we have joined 35,000 health care professionals across California and Hawaii in a union that has over fifty years of experience bargaining contracts. UNAC/UHCP members have won collective bargaining agreements that have improved patient care and elevated standards in the health care profession.
