Dear UTNC Members,
The first of our negotiated wage adjustments will occur in this Friday’s paycheck on February 4, 2022.
The process of rolling out these wage increases for all UTNC members is a complex one that KP will implement in multiple phases. First, this Friday’s paycheck will reflect grid placement for most of our members. There are some members for whom KP inadvertently delayed placement on the grid and KP should have communicated this delay directly to affected members.
Adjustments will take place one at a time and we will let you know when KP schedules these negotiated increases.
After grid placements are completed, longevity steps (if applicable) will be added to your adjusted rate and will be retroactively applied to October 1, 2021.
Shift differentials and holiday pay will also be adjusted in an upcoming pay period and will be retroactive to the UTNC Contract ratification date of December 9, 2021.
