Historic Contract Ratified!
After 26 bargaining sessions and a 3-day unfair labor practice (ULP) strike, members ratified a historic contract that sets a new standard for patient care in Maui. Major gains in the new contract include:
- Enforceable staffing levels,
- Increases in wages, at a minimum of 21% up to 97.52% over the life of the agreement, and
- Additional rights and protections.
Thank you all for standing strong and staying united! We are stronger together!
