Bio – Keith Bajamundi
| My name is Keith Bajamundi and I have been an active member of UNAC/UHCP and a part of our affiliate, KDRNA, since 2018. I first became involved with the union when I realized how important it was for workers to have a strong voice on the job. What started as attending meetings grew into a lifelong commitment to advocating for fair treatment, better working conditions, and respect for every member.
Over the years, I served as a contract specialist in 2019, held an officer position as Master Committee chair from 2020 to 2021, and have been the treasurer for our affiliate from 2021 until now. I have worked on campaigns that secured wage increases, safer workplaces, and healthcare improvements. I am also proud to mentor new members, helping them understand their rights and the power of solidarity. Today, I remain committed to building a stronger union, growing our membership, and ensuring that the next generation of workers knows the value of standing united. For me, being the treasurer of KDRNA is more than just representation—it’s about justice, dignity, and a better future for all. |
