Bio – Lisa Nowacky
| I have proudly served as an Emergency Department nurse on Maui for the past seven years, dedicated to providing compassionate, skilled care during our community’s most vulnerable moments. In this time, I have also taken on leadership roles, precepting new graduate nurses, and helping strengthen teamwork across our department.
My passion for nursing extends beyond the bedside. I believe in advocating for the needs of frontline staff and ensuring that every voice is heard. As your Co-Chair, I will work tirelessly to promote fairness, transparency, and unity within our union. I am committed to addressing concerns openly, supporting safe working conditions, and protecting the rights we’ve fought hard to establish. Collaboration is the heart of effective leadership. I will strive to build bridges between members, management, and our broader community, ensuring that decisions are made with integrity and with our collective best interests in mind. With your support, I hope to bring my experience, dedication, and strong work ethic to the role of Co-Chair, continuing to advocate for all of us and the vital work we do. |
