Bio – Lusine Kalamdjian

Lusine Kalamdjian has been an Optometrist with Kaiser Permanente for 12 years, joining the organization immediately after graduating from the Southern California College of Optometry. Since beginning her career with Kaiser Permanente, she has remained dedicated to delivering comprehensive eye care while collaborating with colleagues across specialties to uphold the highest standards of patient care. In addition to her clinical work, Lusine is committed to providing eye care services on a volunteer basis, finding fulfillment in serving the community and expanding access to vision care. She enjoys offering her skills to those in need and believes that volunteerism strengthens both the profession and the communities it supports. Earlier in her career, Lusine gained experience in other practice models, where she developed a broad perspective on different approaches to patient care and healthcare delivery. While these opportunities were valuable, she ultimately chose to remain within Kaiser Permanente, where she appreciates the integrated model of care and the strong sense of collaboration it fosters.
