| I have served as the parliamentarian for 7 years and a union steward for 21 years. I am running for the Rep Coordinator position. I will uphold collective bargaining, protect negotiating contracts and bargaining proposals, and secure improvements in wages, benefits, and working conditions. Experienced in grievances, investigations, and achieving resolutions that protect members’. I will recruit new members, ensure that labor groups select labor representatives for organized workplace committees, and mobilize members to support contracts that uphold our collective bargaining agreement. I will commit to providing fair treatment, ensuring safe working environments, and upholding the dignity of all healthcare professionals. I will be accessible and provide access to contract language to achieve reasonable and fair outcomes. My ethics are based on high standards of integrity, transparency, and fiduciary responsibility. I aim to build strong union leadership within the union, strengthen members’ rights and collective bargaining, ensure safe and healthy workplaces, and advocate for an accountable and transparent organization that listens to the voices of everyday healthcare professionals. |
