Bio – Rose Allaine Casado

Dr. Rose Allaine Casado, PharmD, APh, is a clinical care pharmacist with over a decade of practice in ambulatory care pharmacy. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Western University of Health Sciences and completed her PGY-1 residency at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. Over the past 15 years, she has practiced in anticoagulation clinics, asthma clinics, and heart failure clinics, serving patients with chronic conditions and optimizing their care. She now focuses on working with formulary changes within the Drug Education Department. Outside of work, Dr. Casado continues to integrate what she has learned through her education at Lifestyle and Obesity Conferences and the American Consultant Society of Pharmacy meetings, striking a balance between teaching a new path for the elderly to minimize their need for medications. In her free time, Dr. Casado enjoys attending Los Angeles Dodgers baseball games.  If one had ever needed to keep communication alive within the pharmacy, Dr. Casado would be the one to call on, even when she’s watching a live game at those baseball fields.
